Certified Meditation Teacher Training Program
Meditation Student Issues/Grievances
Special arrangements including missed classes, incomplete assignments, etc. must be discussed with the teacher before the semester ends, or else risk not fulfilling the requirements to receive certificate.
Students must contact the lead trainer via email to firstname.lastname@example.org to start a documented chain of communication regarding any issues/grievances, questions or special arrangements. Trainer will do everything in his or her power to accommodate students while adhering to the requirements of the course. If Student and trainer have an irreconcilable difference or an issue cannot be solved to the satisfaction of student or trainer, then the drop-out process may be initiated, adhering to the below drop-out and refund policies.
Course Cancellation or Student Dropping Out
Special arrangements including missed classes, incomplete assignments, etc. must be discussed with the trainer before the semester ends, or else risk not receiving one’s certificate. In the event of a student dropping out of the course, completed course requirements may not be carried over to a future semester, unless arrangements with the teacher have been made in writing prior to the drop-out. In the event that the trainer must cancel the course before or during the semester, he or she may do so with written notice, but must refund in full all Student's tuition paid up until that point.
Payment of tuition - in full - is required by the end of the course in order to be awarded your final certificate. Your $200 initial deposit is fully refundable up until the end of the first class period for your current semester. Absolutely no refunds will be given after that time. In the event of a student dropping out of the course for any reason, the current month's payment will still be due, but the student will not be required to pay remaining months' payments. In the event that a student has paid in full for the course, and then drops out of the course, the teacher will divide the tuition amount by three (the course duration is three months), and refund to the student the amount of the next full month that the student will not have attended.
Students must also agree to uphold the values of The Dharana Method Meditation by treating current and future classmates and clients with respect and honor, or else face revocation of Certificate at the Teacher’s discretion. Inappropriate conduct includes crude, rude or insensitive comments in class or privately to other students or teacher; violence of any kind; excessive talking while the teacher or another student is sharing; excessive tardiness; clothing that does not cover private parts; derogatory words or symbols on clothing and/or objects; and playing music that is crude, rude or insensitive.
Corporate Meditation Program
Payment in full is encouraged, or you may participate in the payment plan of $1000 down (to be paid by 30 calendar days prior to the first class), and the remainder by the date of the program’s final class. Payment in full is required by the end of the course. Your initial deposit or payment-in-full is fully refundable up until the end of the first class performed by The Dharana Method. Absolutely no refunds will be given after that time. A credit may be issued, to expire 6 months from date of cancellation.
